Around April 1, those of you born around January 12, February 25, April 12, May 28, July 14, August 30, October 15 or November 29, will feel a distance between you and your loved one. A feeling of loss and separation are likely.

Around April 2, the in-detriment Mercury conjuncts Neptune at 17° Pisces. Since Neptune is in its own sign, it has a stronger effect causing difficulty with respecting boundaries (in communication, thoughts and mental process in general), poor self-control and sense of responsibility. Seeing things clearly is problematic yet can be a good time for working on your art. Use this time to work on poetry, songs or to paint. Remember – even empaths are responsible for building healthy boundaries!

Around April 10, as Venus conjunct Neptune at 17° Pisces, the Sun at 20° Aries squares Saturn at 20° Capricorn and Jupiter stations at 24° Sagittarius to turn backward.

The Venus-Neptune conjunction in idealistic and empathetic Pisces (flavored with a warm and attention-seeking Leo’s 17th degree) may bring an unfulfilled longing for a beloved one you are missing, romantic nostalgia and imagining your beloved in an idealistic way.

The additional waxing Sun-Saturn square that often brings a clouded sky and a sad mood, adds the sense of rigidity in sticking to the old ways, tradition, conservative principles, rules and authorities. Feelings of your self-expression being blocked or being restricted or burdened in some way, are likely. Despite being faced with high expectations, do your best to push through knowing that this is a temporary limitation.

The Jupiter station in Sagittarius further alters some optimism. Most often, when Jupiter turns retrograde after it stations, some effects on the economy are noticeable as people are more likely to curb their spending.

Because Jupiter always magnifies whatever it comes in contact with for good or ill, the period around its station will likely bring some shock that results in a paralyzing situation.

The Full Moon of April 19, 2019, brings Mercury conjunct Chiron at 3° Aries (the quick-minded and chatty Gemini degree), pointing to possible power or internet outages, issues with electronic or electrical devices, resulting in disruptions. Chiron is the wounded healer, yet in this configuration will bring malfunctions and “hurt/wounding” first before healing. In fact, since February 2019 when Chiron entered Aries, we began a new cycle of healing Aries-related identity wounding.

As the Sun enters fixed Taurus around April 20, shifting our focus to the importance of material possessions and tangible goods and property, Venus enters Aries, the sign of Venus’ detriment, marking a definitely important day/shift. This Venus loves action, quick-starters, adventures, and people who are instinctively drawn to those in the military, armed forces, or the police, as well as those who don’t shy away from confrontation. At the same time, this is the period to pay your bills or deal with expenses.

The period around April 22-24 may bring some shock or disruption, and, sadly, possible casualties. While Sun and Uranus meet at 2° Taurus (ie double-Taurus by degree) around April 22-23, the charged Pluto stations at 23° Capricorn (populist Aquarian degree) and turns retrograde around April 24. While slow-moving generational Pluto affects us the entire month, its stationing in an earth sign may increase its power and bring some natural earth-related disasters (earthquakes, shocks, landslides, mining accidents etc).

Power conflicts in governments, the banking world, and corporations are likely. I expect more Brexit-related info to come in soon, too.

The ultimate goal of Pluto is to transform whatever it touches by digging up what is under the surface and bringing down what is up… And then reverse a situation, an organization or an event.

However, at 23°, the independent and sporadic Aquarius degree, there is restlessness, and things starting to change/shift. Not to mention Pluto’s classical emotionally charged impact that accompanies any notable Pluto transit.

Sadly, when Pluto stations and turns retrograde, there is a likelihood of some mass event(s) causing many casualties. Pluto rules death, after all, and also mass events.

On a positive note, the “digging up” effect of Pluto may bring some exciting archeological discovery or news with the Pluto station being in an earth sign!

Around April 27, Mars at 17° Gemini squares Neptune at 17° Pisces resulting in many people not feeling too well or dealing with some health issues. 17° in mutable signs is called a degree of “impotence”, denoting that everything is currently at a standstill.

Around this last week of April, your actions can be a waste of energy and though some of you want to escape from some situation, it looks like whatever you do, it’s just going down the drain or a waste of energy. Some of you may dislike their work or even get fired in extreme cases. Consider taking a day off and rest because a square in mutable signs can deplete energy :).

Around cloudy April 29-30, Saturn stations and turns retrograde at 20° Capricorn. People or events from the past may re-enter your mist. At the same time, it may point to the passing of a celebrity, CEO,… 20 is the Scorpio degree (death).

Note: both Saturn and Pluto station around the same period AND are opposing the Lunar North Node (and conjunct South Node).

Stationing Saturn is now very strong and powerful because it rules the sign it is in and it is stationary at the same time.

Capricorn traits will mark this month of April, suggesting events related to the earth (the Planet), governments, the corporate and banking world, construction work and buildings, the Establishment (authorities or leaders or royalties or CEO’s), control, security and privacy, borders and fences, the elderly, austerity and restrictions. In the area of health, bones, teeth and skin.

Whenever Saturn and Pluto together oppose the North Node of the Moon, there is more emphasis on restrictions, feeling blocked, seeing no progress, issues with authorities, facing the passing of people (especially elderly people), increased or more intense power conflicts and turbulent events. You might become discouraged indeed.

As long as both Saturn and Pluto conjunct the South Node (and oppose the Lunar North Node) in the coming months, it’s likely some hardship and suffering, restrictions and mass disasters or events will affect many. We are surely in the period of big transitions related to “Zeitgeist” ;).
